What the number buys in each city

A plain-language snapshot of how far a budget tends to go in each city.

These are not appraisals. They are a way to start the conversation, using the kind of product we see most often. Every street is its own micro-market.

In Frisco and west McKinney, a well-located new or nearly-new home with the finishes people expect often lives in the upper-tier of a buyer's first number. Plano, Allen, and Richardson can trade some square footage for trees and a closer-in drive. Carrollton and parts of The Colony still offer more house per dollar — with the caveats that always come with that sentence.

Luxury is not a price. It is a feeling of being well represented. We work from first homes to estates. The standard of care does not change with the comma in the number.

If you tell us the life you want — not just the bed count — we can tell you which of these seven cities is actually in play.
